Taggify Orders: Automatic Order Tags (“the App”)

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you install and use the App on your Shopify store.

Who we are

The App is provided in connection with Shopify. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@taggify.it.com.

What data we access

The App operates entirely within Shopify and only accesses order data that Shopify makes available to the App through the permissions you grant at installation. This may include, for example:

Order identifiers and order status
Order totals, currency, and line item summaries
Shipping or billing country and related geographic information associated with the order
Payment-related attributes Shopify exposes on the order (such as payment gateway or payment method labels, when available)
Fraud or risk signals if exposed by Shopify on the order
Other order fields needed to evaluate your tagging rules

We do not ask you to submit sensitive personal data to us outside Shopify. We do not build a separate customer database for marketing or resale.

How we use the data

We use order data only to:

Evaluate the rules you configure in the App (for example: high-value orders, international orders, fraud indicators, payment method)
Apply or update tags on orders in your Shopify store based on those rules
Operate, secure, and improve the App’s tagging functionality

We do not sell your data. We do not share order data with third parties for their own purposes.

Data retention

We keep data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App. In practice, order information is processed when needed to run your automation and tagging features. We do not retain order data longer than necessary for those purposes.

Data deletion

When you uninstall the App, we delete or cease to retain App-related data associated with your store in line with Shopify’s processes and our operational practices. After uninstall, we no longer access your store’s order data through the App.

If you need help with data deletion or have a request related to your store’s data, email support@taggify.it.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the App and the information processed through it, including access controls and secure hosting practices appropriate to a Shopify app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk in line with industry norms for app providers.

Shopify

Your use of Shopify is subject to Shopify’s own terms and privacy policy. The App relies on Shopify’s platform and APIs; we do not control Shopify’s core systems.

International users

If you or your customers are located in different countries, order data may be processed where Shopify and our service providers operate. By using the App, you instruct us to process order data for the purposes described above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, through the App or by email).
