These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App when installed on a Shopify store (“Store”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The App automatically adds tags to orders in your Store based on rules you configure. The App reads order information made available by Shopify (such as amount, country, payment-related fields exposed on the order, and fraud or risk signals if available) and writes tags back to orders in Shopify. The App is provided as a tool to help merchants organize and automate order handling; it does not provide legal, fraud, or financial advice.
You must have authority to bind the Store that installs the App. You are responsible for your Store’s use of the App, the accuracy of your rules, and compliance with applicable laws (including privacy and consumer laws) as they relate to your use of order data and tags.
Paid plans, if offered, are billed through Shopify’s billing system according to the pricing and billing terms shown in the Shopify admin at the time you subscribe or change plans. Fees, renewals, trials, refunds, and payment disputes are handled in line with Shopify’s billing policies and tools unless we communicate otherwise in writing. We may change pricing with reasonable notice as permitted by Shopify and applicable law.
The App depends on Shopify’s platform, APIs, and availability. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or limitations imposed by Shopify. Your relationship with Shopify is governed by your agreement with Shopify.
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to circumvent security, probe or scan systems without authorization, or use the App in a way that violates Shopify’s policies or applicable law. We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe necessary to protect the service or other users.
The App, its branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for your Store during the subscription term.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that tags will always match your business intent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption); and (b) our total liability arising out of or relating to the App for any claim in the aggregate will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the App in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) if no fees were paid during that period. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, damages, and costs arising from your use of the App, your rules or tags, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Store. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law or Shopify, or if we discontinue the App with reasonable notice where practicable.
Upon uninstall, your right to use the App ends, our access to your Store through the App ceases, and data handling follows our Privacy Policy (including data deletion practices). Tags already applied to orders in Shopify may remain until you change or remove them in Shopify.
We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after the effective date of material changes may constitute acceptance; if you do not agree, uninstall the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App provider operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer or local laws require otherwise.
